On Saturday November 3rd we had Jonah's cowboy birthday party. We ate hamburgers, hot dogs, beans, and chips. We did some barrel racing with our horse on a stick and hit a boot piƱata. Afterwards we celebrated with cake and root beer floats before opening presents. It was a great day and the weather was beautiful.
Today, Jonah's actual birthday, has
been great as well. Jonah got up and had his breakfast and played a bit before we, as in I, went to vote. We came home and got Daddy and headed up to Jackson's school to get him. We then went to the movies and saw Wreck it Ralph. It was great! Now it is naptime and then we are going to dinner. We are so grateful to God for Jonah. He certainly has been a wonderful blessing. Can't believe my baby is 3!!!

Happy Halloween!!
We just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Halloween from The Clupny Family! We had a great day dressing up and getting lots of candy!
Cub Scout Campout
On October 19th Jackson had his first cubscout campout. We were all going to go as a family and campout, but Jeff started feeling sick. By Saturday morning, he was bad off and Jonah was running a temp. So I took Brooklyn and Jackson for the fun. Brooklyn didn't last long before she wanted to go home so Jeff came a got her. Jackson and I were there all day. He earned 4 badges in badminton, BB shooting, archery, and ping pong. We left around 4p to check on the sicklies. We were exhausted and sunburned, but we had some good bonding time!

Pumpkin time!!!
Hey guys!
Well we have been well in the Clupny House. Busy as always!!Lately we have had a lot of fun enjoying fall. On October 4th we went to the Ozark corn maze where we walked around in the maze, climbed piles of hay, visited the petting zoo, and rode on the cow train. Jeff and I can tell you riding in a 55gallon drum (aka the cow) hurt!! I had bruises on my knees bad! But the kids had fun so that is all that mattered.
On the 10th, I took Brooklyn and Jonah to Jackson's first grade field trip. We played games, went into another maze, climbed through hay tunnels. They had a blast!

Kids, kids, and more kids!
Hey there!
Well we have been pretty busy here. Jackson is doing so great in school. He is blowing us away with his math sheets and spelling words. To see him go from Kindergarten to reading like its nothing is amazing. He is doing well with cub scouts and is loving it. We have already earned a few belt loops, sold some popcorn, and soon will go on a camp out. Speaking of, I need to start looking into supplies! And daddy started working with him on manly responsibilities. First up: mowing!
Having 5-6 kids everyday has been challenging at times, but so rewarding. The kids get along so well and have a blast. I love making sure I have an awesome treat for when they get "home". The other day we had candy sushi and yesterday was chocolate chip banana muffins!
Brooklyn had a praise party at school on Monday and Jonah and Kristian loved hearing the music. Brooklyn is getting so big and quite the little momma to these boys.
Well time to get up and start a new day. Looking forward to bible study and going to the pumpkin patch with the kiddos tonight. Pics will definitely follow!!

And so the craziness begins....
Well we are getting into our routines and boy are we busy! Jackson is doing great at school and having lots of fun! I am busy with PTO and have been doing a lot of things at school. Brooklyn and Jonah have started Mother's Day Out and are loving it. Jonah has been doing great with his pottytraining and if we could just get him to poop in the potty we would be done! I will be happy to not buy diapers/pullups.
Jackson has started cub scouts and selling popcorn. He is all excited about his uniform and I have to get online and find out about badge and belt loop requirements because he is super excited to earn them.
I have started watching a little boy twice a week and love it! He is so sweet. I have also started picking up two neighborhood kids every day after school and the kids sure love it. I do too!
Right now I am at my very first conference. I am learning a lot, but it has been hard being away from my family. Can't wait to get home tonight!
I am going to start decorating for fall. Love the fall!! Hoping to find some planters for my porch and gonna work on some pinterest projects!! What can I say? Love to stay busy!

We're getting into the swing of things!!
Hey!
Well we made it through our first week of school and Jackson did great! He really loves his teacher and is doing so well. Brooklyn and Jonah are anxious to go, but don't start till September 6th. I have been struggling with my knee and haven't been able to run like I want. We are thinking I have runners knee and now have to rest it, ice, compression, etc. I am really itching for a run and am disappointed I cant run in my planned race this Monday.
Jonah has gotten so big overnight. He now has started swinging in a regular swing.....no baby swing for him and we are pretty much done with potty training. He is doing so well with telling us he needs to go instead of me asking. Now to get him holding it through the night and we are set! We even got a new toilet seat with a built in kids potty so we don't have the one on the floor.
Jackson has started cub scouts. He had his first meeting and can't stop talking about camping and shooting a bow oh and " mom I gotta sell popcorn!" We are all going together to his fall camp out in October. Wish us luck!!
The other day after school I made a new after school treat....the whoopie pie. Normally I wouldn't offer it as a snack because it is just cake and frosting, but the recipe puts beets in it. Now I hate beets so I was leery, but they turned out great and the kids loved them. Thursday after school Jackson had his friend Jaden come over and they played and went o Chuck e Cheese for spirit night. He was so excited and had so much fun. I know I need to cherish these moments. It is going so fast!!!

First day of school!
Well I just dropped Jackson off to his first day of first grade. I can't believe it!! Where does the time go? This morning Jackson got his requested breakfast of a strawberry toaster streudel and bacon. He got dressed and we headed to school. He was so excited to head to class. I had to chase after him just so I could get some pics. He was so glad to see his friend Meryk. They did a huge bear hug in the middle of class :) So I said goodbye to my sweet boy. I know he'll have a great day!

Meet Your Teacher Night
So yesterday we found out who was going to be Jackson's first grade teacher and where he was going to spend his school year. Jackson's teacher is Mrs. Lamp and he is really excited. I am too because I heard she is great and I worked with her sister who also sang of her praises.
We had to be up there early so I could help with the PTO membership table. This year I am vice president of the PTO and will be quite busy. But I love being involved in the school. Thankfully I had my mom with me and eventually my husband otherwise I would have never been able to juggle getting Jackson to his room, dropping off school supplies, and helping with PTO. Afterwards we went to McDonalds to celebrate and headed home for bed.

Thank you for cooler temps!!
So thankful to God for our cooler temperatures. A break from the extreme heat has been nice. Yesterday morning the kids and I met some friends for a much needed playdate at the park. We had a great time! Afterwards, we came home to eat lunch and Brooklyn and Jackson helped me with making some cupcakes (i.e. batter testers) then they got cleaned up and we took Brooklyn for a haircut. She is getting so big! We followed up with some more outdoor fun in the backyard. So grateful for this weather!!!
